Team Leader – Targeted Care Packages and Better Futures – Full Time (Fixed term 12 months, possibility to lead to ongoing)

Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-Operative – Engagement & Family services now have the following vacancy based at our Mooroopna office

  • Team Leader – Targeted Care Packages and Better Futures.
  • Full time – 38 Hours per week.
  • Fixed term 12-month contract with a possibility to lead to ongoing.

Who we are looking for:

  • A person with the ability to provide leadership and case direction to caseworkers to ensure the needs of children and their families are being met in accordance with their case plan, care and placement plan and cultural support plans.
  • Well-developed skills and experience in delivering programs and services within required timeframes and budget parameters.
  • Qualification in Social Work Community Services, Youth Work or other related discipline.

What you need to be successful in this role…

  • To provide oversight of Rumbalara’s Targeted Care Packages (TCP) and the Better Futures Program which incorporates Home Stretch.
  • To identify any gaps in services available for TCP and Better Futures clients and advocate on their behalf as necessary and appropriate.
  • To co-ordinate the delivery of a high-quality program that provides genuine and positive outcomes for clients.
  • To provide ongoing support, supervision, performance management, learning and development of team members in this program.
  • The successful applicant will be subject to comprehensive reference checks and will need to provide: A National Police Check, Working with Children Check and evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination status.
